Working at a big tech company is like living on another planet- everything from infrastructure management to incident response operates on a completely different scale, and requires a different mindset and tools to effectively navigate.

Today, we explore that world with Derek Brown, Engineering Lead at Plaid.

I met Derek at the SEV0 incident management conference last fall, where he did a talk about why small incidents matter. We learned that we share the experience of working at Meta’s Production Engineering, so I’m excited to compare notes.

Derek is also an attorney for the state of California, a scuba diver, a HAM radio operator, an experimental chef, and a drummer- so tune into this really fun conversation!
